| SUMMER IS HERE, COME FOR A VISIT
Who would not agree that summer in Muskoka is the absolute best? Our guests know it, because about 90% of them re-book almost a year in advance. We usually have a few spots available and some who call to reserve find what they are looking for while others end up on our waitlist. First Chickens – Now Bees and a Garden! Our flock of chickens are always popular, particularly with the kids who often helped to gather the eggs. And there is nothing like fresh eggs for breakfast! We are also beekeepers having started our first hive about 10 years ago. Ask for our amazing honey next time you visit. We also have an organic vegetable garden which regular enhance the soil using compost generated from our guest’s “green stuff”; that’s in addition to our strong emphasis on recycling and building energy, eco friendly cottages. Out of the Lake, into the Sauna… Our waterfront dry sauna is ready and waiting. What a treat. It can be an invigorating experience to take a refreshing dip in the lake during fall or spring and then follow it up with the cleansing sensation of a hot sauna. Wow!
